Position Summary:

Responsible for producing design, implementation and projects of creative development; and execution of assigned projects for a wide variety of sales, marketing, and communications material including but not limited to; aircraft paint schemes, brochures, calendars, customer support directory, photography, and tradeshow & event materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Creative Design & Project Management: 100%

  • Act as a creative source for the design of all internal & external business related materials
  • Provide high caliber design and production for strategic print communications and corporate branding
  • Complete assigned internal / external projects to ensure accuracy, and quality in alignment with corporate design / branding consistency
  • Alternate resource to design and produce computer generated aircraft paint schemes in 2D as well as with 3D imaging design tools in coordination with Sr. Creative Designer.
  • Produces finished work for printing utilizing appropriate internal / external resources, including but not limited to logos, presentation folders, newsletters, brochures, agendas, tradeshow / event graphics and business forms
  • Produces advertising layouts in support of AHNA Marketing initiatives and in coordination with AHI Communications guidance
  • Design and production of company annual calendar and company customer support directory.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:



  • High school diploma
  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program or higher in the focus areas of Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication Technology, or similar program. Associates degree
  • Experience in graphic design work in the areas of marketing, communications, paint schemes, and/or social media content.

  • The Creative Design Intern will be required to assist both internal and external creative design initiatives in coordination with the Head of Marketing and Sr. Creative Designer. These initiatives must be closely coordinated and aligned with the Sales, Marketing, and Communications department.

  • The Creative Design Intern will ensure the success of all internal and external AHNA creative efforts. Focus on enhancing the customer experience through AHNA creative efforts. Must take prudent and appropriate actions to assist the Marketing team in managing the creative design related budget line items.

  • Involved Communication on a regular Basis with internal and external parties

  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings, daily
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms, daily
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications, daily
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts, daily
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs, daily / as required
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs, daily / as required
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools, occasionally / as required
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer, daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, occasionally /as required
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor, daily / as required
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice, 15% / as required
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces, daily
