Position Summary:

Understand operator needs in the North American region to ensure they recognize the superiority and value of Airbus Helicopters solutions. Lead marketing efforts and sales support in specified and assigned Sales Territories / Market Segments. Act as main POC for all sales team members within assigned Sales Territories / Market Segments. Drive customized marketing initiatives within the region through an understanding of the customers/key stakeholders' needs, wants, and decision triggers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Drive Regional Marketing: 40%

  • Be the ambassador for your assigned territory and markets at AHI HQ
  • The marketing focal point within your assigned North American territories
  • Execute marketing strategy by providing customized analysis and presentations to promote Airbus Helicopters value to the operators in your assigned North American territories

Understanding the Customer and Competitor: 40%

  • Provide marketing knowledge base on how our customers operate our products and impacts to our market
  • Assigned territory POC on all competitive analysis in the region, including but not limited to key campaigns activities, pricing policy, product developments, analytics, and services

Understanding the North American Market: 20%

  • Develop a thorough understanding of operators, their markets, and their market trends
  • Define marketing strategies for operators to create more business opportunities
  • Provide market inputs and requirements to feed other areas of Marketing/Sales and other internal stakeholders

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:



  • 4-year degree in engineering, economics, business/marketing; or equivalent experience and education


  • Master's degree: MBA or Master's Degree in engineering, economics, business/marketing



  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in B2B marketing, program management, or engineering for technical products in the aviation industry (rotary wing industry preferred)


  • Previous experience with detailed marketing analysis and modeling

  • FAA Helicopter Pilot License

Decision Making, Complexity:

  • The Coordinator, Regional Marketing is responsible for providing timely support to the sales teams within their assigned territories. They will be expected to work independently in leading our marketing initiatives in the region. This position will work closely with the other regional marketing colleagues to ensure consistent messaging across all customers and segments. The Coordinator, Regional Marketing is the local ambassador for the sales team within the AHI HQ.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:

  • The Coordinator, Regional Marketing key to success is building strong relationships with the regional sales team and understanding the assigned territory customers. Must be able to influence customers toward AHI products.

Nature of Contacts:

  • Involved Communication regularly with internal and external parties
  • Engage with internal parties and external territory contacts to determine market needs and review product evolution opportunities with Programs, Marketing, and Strategy


  • Focusing on the customer and their needs will require close relationships with the sales teams and their customers both in influencing them toward our products and learning from them their needs. This includes negotiations with customers for the usage of their aircraft in events, demos, and tradeshows.


  • Will influence the programs teams to what our customers need in North America, including a strong involvement with all future developments.

Physical Requirements:

  • Onsite: 70%
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings, daily
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms, daily
  • Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications, daily
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copier, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts, daily / as required
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs, daily / as required
  • Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment to 30lbs/14kgs, daily / as required
  • Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools, occasionally / as required
  • Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on a computer, daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving, occasionally / as required
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor, daily / as required
  • Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice, 30% / as required
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces, daily
  • Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by the site and/or customer site
