Position Summary:  

Develop and maintain KPIs as assigned. Perform a variety of routine clerical tasks and duties such as preparation of documents and records in accordance with detailed instructions or standard practices; improve ways of working to go a paperless process. Work within ERP system (SAP) to learn and develop skills and support the overall department.  

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Description:  KPIs 50%

  • Develop Microsoft Office Suite Skills
  • Maintain weekly/bi-weekly/ weekly reports as assign
  • Propose new ways simplify tasks regularly as skills increase
  • Export Data from SAP to analyse and present in presentation format through Microsoft Office Suite

2. Description: SAP and other Systems 45%

  • Create orders in SAP as assigned.
  • Update delivery dates to show accurate
  • Develop skills to maintain inventory levels based on turn times
  • Learn financial impact of how process of the MRO Business Office impact MRO and bottom line.
  • Work open work in progress inventory multiple times a week. Push internal shops and Suppliers to meet proposed turnaround time.
  • Enter data within SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and other systems as required per the process requirements
  • Learn the following modules in SAP MRO, SD, MM, and WM by performing assigned work.

3. Description: Task Assignments 5%

  • Log or perform clerical duties as needed
  • Work closely with leads of the MRO Business Office on daily tasks
  • Learn to all aspects throughout to support customers both internal and external.
  • Be a backup to positions when a co-worker is out of the office
  • Attend meetings as assigned. Report necessary information to management as needed

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

Required:

  • High school diploma and currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.                                                         

Experience:

  • Required: Requires no formal work experience.  Must have mental alertness and be able to adapt to routine tasks and duties

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Office Suite. Heavy on Excel.
  • SAP experience

  • Presentations created for MRO could be displayed throughout Airbus
  • Work with customers to meet customer demand
  • Must be accurate on all processes.
  • Maintain reporting for up to 2000 lines of open WIP inventory.

Nature of Contacts:

  • Work closely with leads and MRO Business Manager. Some communication with external suppliers and both internal and external customers weekly
  • Involved Communication on a regular Basis with internal and external parties

Physical Requirements:       

  • Onsite: daily
  • Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily
  • Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. - Daily
  • Speaking:  able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily
  • Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools Daily
  • Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily
  • Lifting:  able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Daily
  • Pushing / Pulling:  able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. - Weekly
  • Sitting:  able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer. - Daily
  • Squatting / Kneeling:  able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
  • Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on production floor.=Daily
  • Travel:  able to travel independently and at short notice. 0%
  • Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):  able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily
  • Personal Protective Equipment required:  Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site daily
